I didn’t read the entire post at first, just saw the headline and the old-fashioned looking map. My 7 year old daughter recently learned about Columbus in school and we’d been discussing the route he’d taken. Great, I thought, now I’ll be able to show her Columbus’ route on Google Maps, with an old-fashioned chart and all. It was only when I re-read the post and noticed the link was from CollegeHumor.com that I realised it probably wasn’t what I thought it was. An amusing post nonetheless, but would probably result in more questions than answers for a 7 year old.
